I made up a new bun! :cheese:
It's easy, fast, and very secure. This is the only style I can hold with my hairsticks. Also, it's holding now on my second-day super-silky hair. It's a little hard to explain, so I'll be putting up a video on it shortly.
1) Make a french twist
2) Place hair stick in rench twist from the upper outer edge angled inwards towards the "flat" side of the twst
3) As the twist unravels twist the stick clockwise 180 degrees
4) Push the fork into your hair hooking the scalp hairs and going over a loop of hair from the twist to secure it
5) The bun is going to want to twist to the left, so secure it like a bun with a second stick
As I said, it's hard to explain. It's obviously a messy bun and it doesn't look very secure, but it certainly is. Also, my hair is just a bit beyond APL and I'm not sure how this would work on longer hair.
