36 centimeters, that's 14.17 inches says measurements converter. Exact, that's me. :D I measured with different measure tape last time in mid-December, so there must be a bit of difference because of that, but anyway: one inch in a month! That's not quite possible, but it's growing, I'm so happy!

Well it looks as though I am growing, 18.5" this month.

I was very sick a few weeks ago. I am still a bit sore from the pneumonia. I am glad my mother got me those massage gift certificates for my birthday back in August. I have not used them and now I know why; I need them now lol.


Anyway, I know my growth is less because I was sick and my body is still trying to heal. However, I do know what my genetic potential is. Back in September, I cut my mother’s hair. She has not had a trim since and her hair is about 3 inches longer. Which means her hair grows approximately ¾ of an inch a month. Therefore, I know I can get that when I am at my strongest and healthiest.


I am still grateful for the growth I received. I look at it as natures New Year’s gift to me.

I grew about an inch but then cut an inch becaus emy ends were in this really weird looking icicle shap and thin. SOOOO I'm still at 26in. with a much thinker and blunter hemline. I'm hoping to trim onlt like 1/8 in. every 8 weeks from now on until my hair is blunt and I've gotton rid of all my layers. Hopfully I'll get to waist soon.

I'm at 76 cm now, or 29.9'. My hair has grown exactly one centimeter since last months measurement. It's a bit slower than average but not much at least and now I'm finally at waist :D so I'm happy!

23" up from the 22" of my last trim. Although this is considerably less than what I started out with, I'm happy that most of my damage and all of my layers are gone. Also, my V cut is gone. I really like the look of the V cut while it's down, but the straight across thing cuts down on tapering. Also, I'm a ii/iii now at 4" circumference so I'm satisfied with that goal (although I wouldn't mind a solid iii).

Still 34"... :undecided I have been trimming the longest few hairs regularly, but since I have had issues with breakage, the shorter hairs still haven't caught up. However, it seems like my hair might be way more sensitive to protein than I thought. My hair felt good before, so I didn't realize something could be wrong with it, but after clarifying + SMT and staying away from my beloved eggwashes (which I only did occasionally anyway) my ends are now softer than I thought possible. It looks like the breakage is subsiding, but it's a bit early to tell how this will affect my growth yet. I'll probably go without trims for a while and see what happens.

I'm still measuring 32.75, which is what I had last month. However, I trimmed right before I measured. Lesson learned...measure before *and* after I trim so I can know what the growth was and also how much I actually took off. I'm aiming for 1/4" trims monthly for a while, but I must have taken more off or mismeasured the month before. Regardless, I am happy with the trim and how my hemline is improving, and that I'm not losing any length, really. Just taking a bit longer to get to solid hip. :)

I am measuring my hair at the end of every month, so here is my latest measurement: 24.5 inches. My December length was 24 inches so it looks like I have half an inch of growth. I suppose I should be happy but I really want to reach BSL! I still have a few more inches to go...
