I usually oil it when my hair is damp, then I might leave it in a bun to dry. If not, I add Aloe Vera gel and scrunch. :)

Handsclean, how do you distribute the oil through your hair when it is damp? Do you comb it through? Finger-comb it through? Scrunch it in? Another way?

Yes I do oil my hair, I do it wet and dry whenever I feel it needs it.

What kind of oil do you use?
I use mostly Jojoba, Olive, and Tea Tree Oil.

Do you oil your hair when it is wet or dry?
Both!

How do you distribute the oil through your hair?
I start at the ends and just rub in all over. If I need it on my top part I will actually put drops from the bottle onto my hair and then rub it in.

What are the results of oiling that you like?
I like how it makes my hair softer and tames the frizziness.

1) I oil my hair before and after washing.

2) I like avocado oil but I didn't go back to it because its a little pricey. Before washing I use coconut, olive or mustard oil. After washing I use olive or Vatika oil.

3) I oil my hair dry before washing and damp after washing.

4) I divide my hair into sections and then rake a little bit of oil through each section. When I am done with all sections, I scrunch all the hair together, flip upside down and scrunch again. Don't touch it AT ALL and dry with a diffuser on low/warm setting.

5) It does help with the frizziness but I am still in search of something more. It helps with sheen and dryness also. Over-oiling may back fire.

1.) After washing my hair, which I do maybe twice a week.

2.) Sweet almond, although my hair also likes olive oil.

3.) Halfway dried after a wash.

4.) I rub a SMALL amount of oil between my palms, then smooth my hands over my ends. I never go higher than my ears.

5.) Smoother, stronger ends; less frizz; fewer splits.

Coconut oil;

Do you oil your hair when it is wet or dry?

When oiling damp, I usually fingercomb it and then scrunch a little. When oiling it dry, I focus on the ends and just rub it in detangling the hair.

What are the results of oiling that you like?
It defines my curls keeping them shiny and smooth. It's the best method I found to substitute for my coney serums (I'm no cones now).
