How do you get the deepest, darkest stain from your henna?
I will do my 3rd henna next weekend and I want my reddish brown highlights to soak up as much stain as possible. This is on my to-do list so far: Slightly acidic mix, freezing & thawing after dye release, leaving it on overnight in a warm room, using henna with a high dye content, multiple applications over time, no oil in my hair when I apply it... anything else?
