Hey, I just joined this community. A bit about me - I'm from Australia, I am a geek, and of course, I have long hair. I'm trying to get it to the backs of my knees, or however long it'll go.

Are you far from your goal for hair length?

Yeah, got heaps to go. I really should measure it, but I'm too lazy today. Anyway, it's at elbow/midback length, so I think I've got around 17" to go. I do trim my hair once every 3 months, which does slow down my rate of growth, but I can't seem to get by without it - I get awful split ends otherwise. Lost 6" off it the last time I let it go, which made me sad.

My hair is currently the longest it's been since ... pretty much ever, I think.
