I typed myself as a 2a when I came here, but now I'm not really sure. I took some pics to type myself in August when my hair was more or less dry. I don't have any image hosting account so I didn't post them then, though I now have them in an album for your perusal and valuable input.

The right (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/album.php?albumid=923&pictureid=10207)

The left again (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/album.php?albumid=923&pictureid=10206)

TIA!

I would have to vote 1C in general appearance, with some curly spots.

It's weird, eh? For years I was a straightie, no two ways about it, then about three years ago I started noticing the crazy ringlets, which is why I typed myself as a 2, but, of course, it doesn't really look like a 2.

I would say 1c/2a too. With some crazily curly spots!!

I know what you mean when you say changes like that! When I was a child I had ringlets. As I grew (and my hair) it lost the curliness and became wavy

I am seeing long spiral curls emerge.. it's crazy  If this keeps up I need to switch to the 2 stage.

I'll just wait till it is longer and see what happens :)

I would say 1c for now, and it may become a 2a when its longer.

This comment reminded me that it was quite wavy when it was about BSL with no layers December before last, so, yes, it might get wavier as it gets longer. It's certainly straight at shoulder length (save for those accursed ringlets that don't go away).

ETA: I just remembered that those pictures were also taken when I was at shoulder-length, so it was quite a bit shorter.

I think I'll go with 1c/2a for now and see what happens when it gets longer.
