How do I know if it's a BBB?

I bought this brush many years ago and it's been well worn on the handle so I don't know what it is. I have taken some pics. How can I tell if it's a BBB? Does this look ilke one?

The bristles certainly look like the bristles of my BBB.

How often should I use it given that my hair is wavy and I'm guessing after oiling?

You will just have to find out... some people do it every day, but for my scalp, that is just too much. I can handle it every 3 or 4. day, but only for hairstyling, I can't really brush without damaging my scalp...

That certainly looks like a BBB. Though that type is more for blow drying than brushing for scalp stimulation. For that purpose a paddle brush is better.....i'd imagine trying to brush the hair with a round brush to stimulate the scalp would just promote tangling.
To answer your question about frequency.....when i was brushing regularly i did a thorough bent over brushing at night and a quick brush to smooth hairs for my bun in the morning.
