second day hair + hairspray

is it okay to use a bit of hairspray in the roots of second-third day hair? I have to go somewhere today and my hair feels sort of flat. Maybe it's because it's still in a braid.

I suppose you could, but I'd be sure to rinse it out at the end of the day. Cloud you try some aloe vera gel instead?
