blog catagories??

I've seen people put their blog posts into different catagories but for the life of me I can't figure out how they do it? Can anyone enlighten me? :flower:

Shorty89, I`ll try to explain you the steps.

First part:
- Go to your User CP, scroll down the control panel to "Blog". Click on "Blog".
- You will see on the right site "Blog Options" and below your avatar "Blog Control Panel".
- Choose "Blog Categories" from your "Blog Control Panel".
- Choose the Button "Add New Blog Category".
- Think of a title and a description.
- Choose "Save Changes".
- Repeat as many times as you wish.

Second part:
- Choose "Your Blog" from your "Blog Control Panel".
- Choose "Post to your Blog" and select one of your categories, which are displayed in your post footer in "Additional Options".



Yes, you can create categories and assign them to each post individually. For new posts, you can choose at the time of posting, and for old ones, you can edit the post to change the categories (even if the categories didn't exist when you first posted).

ETA: Click on Blog Control Panel and then Blog Categories. From there, you can create new categories and edit existing ones.
