I've been at the LHC around two years now and was inspired to share the change since pre-LHC days since my daughter just sent me some oooold photos. The first one was taken around 99 in Nova Scotia and my hair was not quite BSL after chopping it from waist to 3" long the year before. It has some crunchy texture to it from a misguided perm that left me without the soft curls I had hoped for.

The second photo is my hair now, about six years after my last cut to shoulder length to get rid of perm damage. I'm now at tailbone, which is 35", and have found that I actually do have a hint of natural wave once my hair hits waist or so. Perms are a never again thing, having learnt my lesson nearly ten years ago.
