First hair compliment!

Okay, so hair compliments seem to be a milestone here... well, I've just reached it! :cheese:

I'm back home with my family now during Christmas vacation, and earlier tonight (it's night here atm) I was drinking with a few relatives. My second cousin asked if my hair was real, and I said it was... and she said she was so jealous! We started talking about hair, and I mentioned that I didn't think I would ever cut my hair short again, and then she completely agreed and said I'd have to be crazy to cut my gorgeous hair! :D

Thanks, everyone! I have to admit that the shine in that photo is probably mostly because of vinegar (which my hair doesn't actually like, so I had to stop using it) and the camera flash. But thanks nonetheless. ;)

Come to think of it, I should really take a new photo soon... the one in my signature is kinda old now.

Thanks! At the time when the picture was taken, I was doing WO (water only). I'm still doing mostly WO, but now I occasionally use a non-sulphate, all-natural shampoo, along with a no-cone conditioner.

And no, my hair hasn't always been in this condition. Before I went WO, it used to be incredibly dry and frizzy! So WO has really done a world of good for my hair.

wow WO! It really looks lovely.

I want to try the WO approach but by the 3rd/4th day the hair near the scalp becomes really oily and waxy. But seeing your pictures I'm tempted again :)

It's special to get a compliment from a family member - so often they are rude and critical, thinking since they're family they have "a right to speak their mind"... ugh!
