What type is my hair?

Here’s a little info on my hair:

- It's normally very dry and brittle, but since cowashing (about a week now) and only cowashing, has been very soft. There's still some frizz I need to work on, though.
-I rarely blowdry, don't flat iron or curl.
-I don't brush, ever.
-I use suave conditioner or vo5, looking for something thicker and more moisture-rich for the ends, though.

Before picture, about a week ago. No product, air dried, but I plopped:

What do you guys think, now? What type am I? Does it look
better, worse? Am I doing something wrong?

I want to say 2c/3a because you dont have a ton of root curl, but i can se a bit.

I'd say 3a. Your hair is definitely curly, not wavy.

I'm not used to "root curl" being part of the criteria, though. Is there a reference for that? Most of the 3a typing pictures have loose ringlets that start past the roots. The weight of longer hair often weighs down the hair closer to the head.

3a id say, your not a wavy but a curly and those are beautiful ringlets you have and im jelouse of how thick your hair is.

I'd go with 3a. I'm a 3b, and I rarely have root curl either. :shrug: 2c/3a tends to have more straightness towards the top, yes, but it goes on for a lot longer than your's does, usually, especially at your length.

My vote is a 3a.

Your hair is gorgeous. I looked at your photos before I read anything and I do not think your hair is frizzy. Whatever you are doing or not doing, keep it up your hair is just lovely. :)

I would say you are a solid 3a. I don't have much root curl unless I'm at apl or shorter, and I know that the time my hair is bsl the "root curl" has pretty much turned into waves.

And you have a gorgeous hair color.

I'd call it 3A. Those are decidedly curls, not waves.
