well not invented a new bun. I can't remember the name of it though.
Anyway heres a photo and it stopped in all day:cheese:
Do those darn neck hairs EVER grow?
Sorry mods if this is too big, does anybody know any other place to put pics on, photobucket is really getting on my nerves!

Ohh I like the look of that. I'm not really a bunner so it isn't familiar. Please post a link to directions if you remember the name.
BTW you can resize photos in photobucket, if that's the issue you're having.

OK her the instrustions.
1) part hair in 2 parts close together as in ---(O)(O)-- the 2 -- is the side of your head the (O) is the gathered hair (I know it looks rude but not meant to be) the braids need to be as close together as possible.
2) braid both the (O)'s and put elastic on the ends or place in mouth as I did
3) get your hair stick and place it through the base of the braid, as close to the scalp as you can.
4) get both braids at the end and cross them over the stick to make a X
5) the take both braids and take one under the stick and the other one over, keep doing this until all the braid is used up.
6) take the elastics out and bobby pin the ends down VOILA!
Hope this helps, im not much good at explaining myself!

in photo bucket you can choose what it automatically uploads in size as (under the uploading button). mediums a good setting on here.
And if it's too big it has the option when you click into the picture to resize at the top mini menus .
Hope that helps a few....... :)

That's what it looks like to me too, and sounds like it after reading the directions. You did a great job! I learned this one from a youtube video with instructions on how to hide the part in my hair, since I am never very good with parting down the back.

That bun is stunning, I need to try it sometime. :D
P.s. As for resizing pictures, you can do it in MS paint if its on your computer before you upload to photobucket. Just go to image > stretch/skew, and enter somewhere around 15~20% (ETA: in both horizontal and vertical, in the stretch one only. Don't change the skew numbers) and it should be an okay size. :)

Very nice bun! And the neck hairs look fine - I wouldn't worry about them at all - they soften the look of an up-do in a romantic way.

They certainly do, I was thinking of making them extinct at one point with a razor:o but what kind of world would it be without a few Bert and Ernies! funny though the rest of my hair is wavy yet those little tykes are straight, I like the curly ones too:cool:
