1 year LHC anny

It's just slightly past my 1 year anny here on LHC so I thought I'd post a couple comparison shots. I don't think I've gained a ton of length since joining but I have improved the quality of my hair and am slowly but surely making my ends look better while heading towards classic. My hair is currently 38.5" and tailbone length. I will reach classic at approx. 43".

My hair was 35" when I joined LHC towards the end of November 2008. However, it was in a bad way from daily blow drying on the hottest setting and frequent flat ironing. Here is what it looked like air dried:

As you can see, my hair is air drying naturally in a much better condition than it was a year ago... yay! I'm heading in the right direction. I've gained 3.5" in a year but I have also had a couple of trims and done lots of S&Ding to try to improve my hair quality and judging by the pictures, it's slowly heading in the right direction!

I haven't really learned any updos yet but that is something I'm working towards. I just today received an incredible hat made for me by missjessiecakes. It is a hannah hat and I was able to make a makeshift bun to stay just long enough to get a photo... so here's my hair up in a hat too!

RavennaNight, I love your hair! Yes, it does seem true that the more you air dry the better your hair starts adjusting to it. It is now drying mostly straight! It makes me wonder if my slightly annoying and uneven waves and frizzies were caused by my blow drying in the first place... I did have straight hair as a child after all.
