I've found a horn comb seller on Ebay and was wondering if his horn combs for fine hair would work well as a scritching comb?
Here is a sample of one of his combs:

I've only seen scritching combs for sale at the ******** site and they are a bit pricey for me to just try one out, so I was wondering if these horn combs on ebay might fit the bill? I've read on another site that a scritching comb should have 8-10 tines per inch but I'm not sure if these combs do?

For those wondering what a scritching comb is....
A scritching comb is an extra fine or fine toothed comb designed especially for stimulating, exfoliating, and scalp scritching (with or without oil). Scritching is supposed to help increase circulation to the scalp and help with hair health and growth.

Appreciate any opinions on this. Would also love to hear from those of you who do scritch. Have you found it beneficial? It must feel good at least!

Horn combs are so invigorating! You named the naughty website! Shame Shame!:rollin: But anyways, I think the link you posted is decent. I have a horn comb I got from Hennaforhair's store in Ohio (I think it is quecraft!) and it really feels good on the scalp.

Is that sight not allowed to be named here for some reason?

I have some combs from that seller, and I have really been happy with them. I use a horn comb as a scritching comb, that I did get from her.

It is a fine tooth.
Just be careful as some of them are sharper and can damage your scalp if pressed too hard.

The top one in this pic is the one I use from her. The black one is from her too. The pale horn comb is from Heavenly Harvest.

Good luck with what you decide.

The owner objected to negative reviews of their products here, and since TLHC welcomes both positive and negative reviews, we simply don't discuss them at all.
