I wrote this and thought the others here might enjoy it.

The LHC is my helper.
I shall not be discontent.
It maketh me lie down on silk pillowcases;
It leadeth me beside distilled waters.
It restoreth my sheen. (Was originally "restoreth my hair".)
It leadeth me in paths of healthiness for my hair's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the blowfryers
I will fear no evil.
For TLHC is with me; my ACV, it comforteth me.
It preparest a message board before me in the presence of fellow long hairs.
It anointeth my head with oil;
My bun runneth over.
Surely S&Ds will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in TLHC forever.

Yeah, I did it myself. I'm glad you like it. The only line that is original are "It anointeth my head with oil." I really liked the "It preparest a message board before me in the presence of fellow long hairs."

I thought about doing it with the Lord's Prayer, but I wasn't able to find the right words. It also seemed a little sacrilegious. I did get two lines that I liked. "Lead us not into hair salons, but deliver us from scissors."

This is fabulous! So funny and so accurate, in many ways. I love it! In fact, I'm going to send the link to this page to my mom, who is a Lutheran minister and whom I convinced last year to start growing her hair long again. I constantly mention things I read about on TLHC to her, and I know she would like this.
