We all must have pictures hanging around of us before we started cutting and colouring and doing crazy stuff to our hair. Dig them out and lets see them. I'll start us of with my hair at its peak at 15 years of age, how lucky my dad caught me unawares with this pic :D

I grew my hair out for a while before cutting to a pixie, so I cut off anything that had ever been dyed. So my signature is my natural, virgin hair color. I do have some silvers, but they are few and far between and rarely show up in pictures.

11th grade, before a pep rally. It's probably bow dried, but this was a couple years before I started messing with the color. Can't wait until it's all virgin again!

My virgin hair is unchanged (my avatar and profile pic), I never dyed or curled or straightened it... So I don't have 'after' picture, does that count? :)

Best I could find was this horrible image of me when I had short hair in 5th grade:
http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff176/Little_Orca/Long%20Hair%20Gallery/zHair%20Journal%20Private/6thGradeShort.jpg

But, I do have virgin hair growing back in now :D
http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff176/Little_Orca/Long%20Hair%20Gallery/zHair%20Journal%20Private/IMG_2718-1.jpg
Now it's more like 6 - 6.5 inches of virgin hair. The contrast is easier to see in the smaller image of my hair in the mirror.

My current hair is not dyed at all... hasn't been blowdried much either. It does get trimmed on occasion though.

<<< See avatar; this crop of hair hasn't had any dyes or other chemical treatments, and since half of it's been grown at LHC, it's barely been blowdried at all. It's longer than it ever was when I was a kid; I've never had "uncut" hair since I was a toddler. Here (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/album.php?albumid=2331&pictureid=28657) a couple years ago it was longer, still undyed or permed, but blowdried straight(ish).

We all must have pictures hanging around of us before we started cutting and colouring and doing crazy stuff to our hair.

And my mom always kept my hair cut short when I was little. I think my hair was permed for the first time when I was 5. By the time that permed hair would have grown out and been cut off, I had discovered the curling iron. And more perming and cutting after that. My hair might be closer to virgin now than it's been since my youth.

Here is some funky hair. Growing out highlights a few years ago. Once I had cut it all out, wish I had just left it alone, but nooooo..... lol

Here I am in 1981, with as close to virgin as I ever was. I was born with platinum blond hair and it gradually got darker over the years. As soon as I hit my teens, I discovered Sun-In and used it for a number of years. I'm 25 or 26 in this picture and hadn't used Sun-In for years.

And, I agree - - Spidermon - I luv your hair! :D

The top 4ish inches are virgin color. The rest is what happens when I try to get back to my natural color. Dye does not stick well on me. ETA: my head is tilted back to show the roots.

Ah well, I'm determined to grow and grow and grow until I'm all virgin color at classic. :D

I measured and my virgin hair length is 6 inches. Woot, up an inch from the last measurement. Here is an updated photo! The blue box is around the virgin hair so you can see how it differs from the other color.

http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/album.php?albumid=4327&pictureid=56806

I was 16 when I took these pictures. I no longer straighten my hair (even though I think straightening brings out the color more). Also I no longer cut my own bangs, those bangs are now shoulder length. Also I don't color like I did when I was in middle school, I got made fun of for having not blonde or brunette hair, so I tried blonde (it turned pink) and brunette (it turned a nasty greenish brown). Now my hair is all virgin and I love my natural color.
