Sharpening scissors

Where do you get your hairdressing scissors sharpened? Is it done with filing wheels? How much can it cost? Is there a DIY alternative?

Scissors can be sharpened by cutting in aluminiumfoil or sandingpaper but I have not tried it on hairdressing scissors...

You know those little sharpening stones for kitchen knives? I use that.

I used 4 layers of alumunum foil and cut trough it once, then worked my way down to one. It works great!
