1 year, 1000 posts, thanks LHC!

Well, it's been a year and a few days since I made my hair-obsession official and joined LHC! I had a major elbow-to-chin length cut in December 2007, kept it trimmed up for a while and then started growing it back out again.

I found LHC in November 2008 when researching natural hair-care methods; I was on a mission to solve my ugly scalp problems before growing my hair back. I've been able to keep my scalp under control, and learned all kinds of great tips for keeping my hair healthy and happy to boot! I love being able to chatter about conditioner ingredients, herbs and oils and porosity and whatnot without feeling like a vain, freaky hair-nerd. Because we're all vain, freaky hair-nerds here! :)
