Reaching BSL (pictures!)

The longest bits of my hair have passed BSL, and shorter layers are reaching that milestone. Many people have given compliments over my hair. "It's gotten so long!", "Your hair is really pretty, don't cut it", etc.
Last week my sister had a baby-shower and many relatives and family friends came, and there were many people I hadn't seen in awhile. For the occasion I put my hair in two loose pigtails, and the length was easy to see. My step-father's mother reached out and touched my hair "It's beautiful. You look like a model" :cloud9: I try not to let these comments go to my head, since not everyone has such a warm reception to their long hair.

Thanks! Some days it's hard to resist getting a short, trendy hairstyle. Especially since I have a few friends with really fresh, hip hairstyles. Thankfully there's been enough encouragement to keep it long, though I still feel the urge to experiment. Maybe with fun colors, only coloring the under layers of hair and using gentle methods (Kool-Aid anyone?)

I hope to make it to waist length, and keep fingers crossed that my hair will still be in good quality when I reach that milestone. My hair is fine and it seems to split more now, but that could be because the hair is long enough now to pull in front of my eyes and really look at. I try and stay on top of the splits with S&Ds though.

Weird alternate hair goal: when it will cover up my breasts :D
