I just started fiddling and managed to insert 9 baby claw clips in my hair to keep my hair up.

Made a pony tail, twisted the locks of hair around my fingers loosely and clipped them to the center. I realize now that twisting and twirling would have been better, as this looks like.. well..

I will try this again and get back to you when I manage to make something pretty instead :lol: In the mean time this is a good topic to share scare crow updos with all of us here. SHARE THE HORROR!! :lol:

Just like they serve at dairy queen--a small cone, dipped in chocolate.

I had a braid in my hair all day, and my mum was fixing a dress for me and needed it out of the way, so I impaled it upwards with a single hairstick--this is the result. No, I did not leave the house like this.:cool:

AutumnLeaves, I've done (and my mom did when I was little, too) the short bangs thing way too many times to count. Why didn't I ever learn? I'm letting them grow now.

I liked it, too, AutumnLeaves! Very cute! Maybe only those of us whose hair tends to be "silky" and a bit limp can fully appreciate the wonder of good strong hair that can stand up on its own like that!:agree:
