It's impossible to watch anything but her gorgeous hair in this video. Super plus that it's an awesome song! :cheese:

I would love for everyone to post a link to their favorite hair videos!

I haven't a clue what they're saying but I'm dancing along with them...well, as well as I can while sitting down with a laptop on my lap and a cup of coffee in my hand. :)

Her hair looks great.

Yeah there are a fair amount of long-haired guys in that one too!

Gotta love Shahrukh Khan. :D

I doubt whether Kareena really grew her hair so long -- coz she does not have such long hair (maybe they're hair extensions).
:D:p
But check out this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AWT4gdvrFY&feature=related
This is really long hair by the Indian Actress Dia Mirza (movie Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein) .. and a superb song too - one of my favourites!

Enjoy ! :)

Yes, cool video. I just sent the morning working and watching/listening to avs total request video program. I can't help but be fascinated by the costuming in most of these movies. Good stuff! I also like to watch the elaborate dance numbers and take note of the way they are set and shot. Some of the shots are amazing.

I agree with longhairdream, though. I don't think this is her hair either. Probably extensions or a couple/few woven tracks of length, perhaps. This movie is pretty new but I don't remember seeing pictures of her w/ hair at or approaching this length prior. It's shorter in more recent pictures.

This story is from May. Sort of hard to tell, but it looks like her hair is around the usual apl or so.

More recent article, dated July 2009. Better picture and still apl length.

Did she ever grow her hair much longer than this?

Longhairdream, that actress in your clip has very pretty hair.

Well I don't know about that, I was busy noticing some pretty hot vest-wearing-only guys in there, too ... :) She did have nice hair though. And I do like that music.

Even though this video is poor quality, it is a real long hair inspiration:
This one is of Mishaal the belly dancer:

Here is one with a little bit better quality, different belly dancer:

I just think belly dancers in general are good long hair role models. It really shows how long hair can make a person more beautiful. Can you picture these belly dancers doing there thing with a short business-like haircut and how that would just kill it?

I love Bollywood movies' song & dance sections...they make me happy. It does look like she has extensions though because a good portion of her hair is at apl. But it still looks good. :)

Thanks for the great links, I've been watching vid's all day! :) I was wondering the same thing about Kareena's hair. It's definitely real hair, but not hers, if that makes any sense! :D What about this Aishwarya video? Does anyone know if this is her real length?

Right in the beginning, when the guys comes out, the one to the left of the man in the middle, with that curly sexy hair, oh wow! swoooooooon :heartbeat

Also, if anyone knows what they are saying, in the beginning he seems to be saying....You have blinded me and I can't speak (the words get caught in my throat)

I am curious....I love that style of videos, I wish I understood the words.

Awesome video! I must say that just about everyone in that video was VERY easy on the eyes. :crush:

Since the OP asked for links to long-hair vids, I'd like to share one I saw circa '99 or so all over MTV. It's Enrique Iglesias' "Rhythm Divine" video. In it, he chases this lady all over the place who has very wet classic-ish length hair. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyUZga9x_Ec (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyUZga9x_Ec)

The only annoyance is that it turned out to be extensions, and the model was quoted as saying that they were very heavy and irritating to wear. :( But I love how the video plays up the mystique of having long hair! :)

Yes i think this is her real length - coz her following movies (Umrao Jaan, Guru, Dhoom) portrayed her wid long hair too - she must have grown out her hair during this time.

Hi..here's the English translation :
http://savarsuri.blogspot.com/2009/05/english-translation-of-marjaani.html

Actually in the beginning, he touches his eyes and kisses his fingers - this is usually one of the (traditional) Indian ways of remembering/denoting God (The language used in this song is Punjabi - a regional language from North India - "Rab" in Punjabi means God).

He then says that "while in the realm of God, we made several promises / swore many times (he touches his throat now) and even followed the stupid traditions of the world".

Hope you found wht you were lookin for ! :)

Youtube is just such a neat repository of cool things! :D

For example, Uyghur dancing here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXE93Ik8-IQ&feature=related

Or the Kalta Cevka, Georgian (not the US) folk dance seen here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCdwxirlwXU&feature=related Don't they look like they're floating?

And of course they all have long hair. :D

I think this is the first time I have seen Kareena. Awesome video! I don't like how she has so much chopped off around her face, but that is just personal preference. It sure is long and beautiful.

Edit: Ahh, so it looks "chopped off" because the longer lengths are extensions? Then that might explain it. :)

Cool video for sure. I love how everything was choreographed, shot and edited with the large number of people all in sync and their interactions, very cool and well done :D

No those are extensions...there was an article long back on hair extensions and they gave an example of aishwarya using them in 'devdas' & 'kajrare' song.
