View Full Version : I think I've typed my hair wrong.

When I looked at pictures to type it before, my hair was combed. My hair is pretty straight when I comb after a shower.

The past few days, I wanted to experiment, so I let my hair air-dry WITHOUT combing.

It seems I have more wave then I thought.

Looks really similar to mine. I'd probably put you in the same type. (ETA: If you want to compare, I've got my hairtyping shot in my album.)

Yeah Im new here but have been reading this forum for about a month or two now. Im confused how the 2a, 2b, 2c, etc scale works? Is there anywhere where it is described?

Congrats on being a wavy! My hair is wavier if I don't comb it, but not as wavy as yours. Beautiful color, by the way!

I was thinking more 1C but 2A sounds good, too. The difference eludes me to be quite honest. Your uncombed waves look lovely.
