The 2nd pic is taken from a slightly elevated angle (hubby?) so it might appear just a tad longer than it really is but still, definitely past shoulder, I'd say collarbone ?
It works to take pictures a few months apart, the differences are much more rewarding :)

Hi, Niph! My husband took the shot and we were standing on level ground. However, he is taller than I am (I am 5 feet and he is 6 feet), so perhaps that is why it looks like it is at a slight angle. When I pull my hair straight, it is about an inch past collarbone -- yippee!! You are SO right that taking pictures a few months apart makes the difference more obvious and more rewarding. That was such good advice -- thank you!!

Oh, and I wanted to add - you're definitely past the hardest part. Now you're going to see your hair go down your back, and that is just the most rewarding and fun part :D I was right where you are just 2 years ago :)
