Hello :)

So usually right after I get out of the shower I comb my hair stick straight and just let it dry like that....well today instead I decided to try and comb it a bit, and then scrunch it with my hands. I didnt use any product at all but it got quite wavy and it dried really nicely still holding the waves (although when it is wet there are a ton more waves.)

What do you think? I think maybe I will get wavier as I grow longer!!! What would you hairtype this as? (excuse the grossness, I am without makeup *hides!*)

Looks great. Since you combed and scrunched it's hard to accurately hairtype from these pics but you certainly have a little wave going on!

Since you combed and scrunched, all it necessarily means is that your hair can adopt wave easily. You can't judge your hairtype if you fiddled with it that much. I have 1c hair but can easily get 2b or even 2c curls all throughout my hair if I scrunch (they don't last very long though :( )

hmmm, I always have to comb though, if I just get out of the shower and take my hair out of the towel it looks crazy....I cant ever really just leave it.

Nice! I have similar hair: if I brush it right after showering, it's straight with a little curl at the ends, but if I leave it in a towel turban for ~10 minutes, it gets crazy curls :)
When did you dye your hair back? It looks good :D

Hi Maddy
I think your waves are great!

I agree with the others in that you can't hair type it if you've done something to it.
I think you should take a picture without combing, even if it does look absolutely awful. :)
And honestly, if your hairtype is actually changing, then I wouldn't be surprised if it was from all the dyeing and undyeing and what not lately.

It's entirely possible that your hairtype will change as you add length....most people's do. It'll either gain wave or straighten out more, depending on the weight of your added length. You won't be able to type from the photos you posted, if it's been manipulated, but it looks very nice, though! :flower:

Thanks! Ill try to let it airdry next time without combing it to see, but it will look really silly!
