View Full Version : It's Growing! ...Sort of. (Progress Pics)

It still feels reaaaaally short, but it's growing. For the record, I completely enjoyed having this cut... until I realised that not having to comb it was only fun for the first month or so.

Sorry about the terrible pictures, and the sulky faces.
I need to practise taking pictures of myself ...not.
Haha, anyway - here you are!

The original cut: I should have hated this, but I actually liked it. A lot. :/ Go figure.

After it grew out some, and I had it trimmed at this stage because of all the crazy layers that wouldn't let me stop fussing over it:

The 'trim' ended up being a proper haircut, and this happened:

I know you can't see much of the hair, but I don't have any photos of that time :( You can sort of tell how short it is though. Must have been around April or May 2009.

Is it my imagination or have I got a spurt of growth since August (read: LHC)?

I always think the same thing, that my hair is sort of growing. Judging from the pictures, yours looks like it has grown a lot. You also have a very nice hair color.

I agree with everyone else, gorgeous hair color too. Has anyone commented on how your hair looks like Audrey Tautou's hair in "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain"? It's adorable. :)

I realised later that I had a trim done in August or so, getting the stylist to cut the back and so on. That's why it seems like it grew slower then. Thank you for the compliments! :)

And for the record, if you should feel that you don't like it when it's long, you look amazing with short hair also. You have a very pixie-ish face, and it suits your features. :)

I've had short hair all my life, because I'd always get frustrated at shoulder length or so and cut it off. Then I'd go through a phase of wanting long hair again, which never went too far because I never knew what to do with it. Plus, you don't often see short hair where I live, and I really like being unconventional like that :p
LHC's been a real eye-opener in many ways, I can't think where I would have got the information I get from here otherwise. I've never thought about having hair longer than BSL in my life before, but now (and looking at all the things you can do with it), I don't think I'll ever want short hair again. Thank you for making this forum the wonderful place it is :)
