Hey, another anniversary thread! 1 year here (w/ pics)

I always love seeing people's progress pictures, and now I finally get to contribute! :cheese:
So I am a couple weeks late for my actual LHC anniversary, but I didn't take my first hair pic until Halloween last year. Enjoy (sorry about the crappy quality...I was trying to find pics that showed the growth the best).

It's frustrating sometimes sacrificing length for the curl, but I guess I grew more than I thought I did. Maybe by next year I can be a solid APL when dry?

This last year was getting through the worst of the stubborn growth stages (for me, anyway) and I feel like I am finally turning a corner. My hair has never been past APL, so I'm excited to see what happens with it.

As it's gotten longer, the curls have gotten more defined, which makes me thrilled. My sister has perfect ringlets (which she blowfries because she hates them) and it's good to know I might be able to get the same. The funky thing is that my canopy and under layer are more of a 2b, while the middle is a 3a/3b, so I say 2c to split the difference I suppose. I would love to be in the 3 range all over.

I have to share a sweet comment that my husband made the other day. He has been completely supportive of my hair growing adventure, but has always been of the anything-longer-than-waist-is-too-long school. We had basically the following conversation the other day:

Me: So I am trying to decide if I should just grow to waist or if I should just see how long it can get.
Him: You should do whatever you want. :)
Me: I think I'll probably just stick with waist.
Him: Oh...but it's so pretty and would be amazing even longer than waist!
