Inhabited nautilus bun...?

I noticed something odd earlier. I put my hair up for the first time since my trim in a Nautilus bun, and the ends won't stay tucked in anymore. Well, that's not surprising, I did cut about 7.5" off.

However... They poked out in such a way that it was like little legs! So I guess I can't do a nautilus bun for a while, unless I want mollusks in my hair.

I had the same thing happen due to hair getting a bit longer. My french twist has a little hair critter sticking out of it now. Maybe I can call it the hermit crab twist.

Heh. I always called it the Paint Brush look - which is why I so prefer fairytale ends.
