Has anyone ever used it? I got 2 free samples of it yesterday at Lush.

I've had it, I wouldn't say that it was that special really. Smells lovely though! Makes hair quite soft, but it still didn't beat an SMT. The 'Huanshua' one or what it was called was more intense.

I LOVE this stuff! I went through 2 tubs of this last year and would love some more now. I only used this pre-LHC, back when I was blow-drying and straightening daily and would never need to use my flat iron after using it. I'm curious to see what the results would be now that my routine is so different. The smell is amazing and lasts even after another couple of washes. Like Fethenwen said, it really doesn't do anything more than an SMT, but the smell is well worth it.

I believe I submitted a review for this in the Reviews section :) I loooooved it, but the tub is way too expensive for me to justify buying it.
*edit* Yup! Here are the reviews: http://reviews.longhaircommunity.com/showproduct.php/product/232/cat/all

I adore this stuff, but I cannot attest to its efficacy as a deep treatment. I've only ever used it as one would a regular conditioner, since it is so expensive and I'd need all of one tub and most of a second to use it according to the directions.
It does smell gorgeous, doesn't it?

I bought it a couple of years ago. Despite the fact my hair is naturally fairish with bleached highlights I ignored the henna content, for I was attracted by its' reputation for deep condtioning - on that score it didn't disappoint. My hair was like straw at the time yet it left it feeling like silk for a few days. Unfortunately it was almost too conditioning for about 4 days after shampooing my hair got unusually greasy and limp. I should stress that it's very, very hard to rinse out.
The first two times I used it it didnt't colour my hair. However, on the third application my bleached hairs took on a faint orange glow. That was the end of it for me!
As a conditioner it's great but do bear in mind you need to rinse extremely well to avoid build-up.

I tried a sample on my ends...it's nice stuff, but a longhair would have to use the entire tub (or even more!) for one treatment to cover the whole head. I had a small size of the Hua....whatever as well from a sample kit earlier this year. I really liked that but the 2 oz bottle only covered a quarter of my hair. SMTs work just as well.

Loathe the smell. Ugh. Much, much, much prefer the smell of hua wen suah (or whatever it's called!).

The Hua Wen Su (I haven't a clue how to spell it either) is much lighter resulting in it washing out easier. Tried it as a post-shampoo conditioner but it had the oppisite effect to the Jasmine and henna - it didn't condition enough for me.
As a preconditioner on dry hair it worked better, but then it's designed to be used prior to shampooing.

Oh my, Jasmine is my absolute favorite scent! Does anyone recall if it is a soapy, floral, or tea-like sort of Jasmine smell? That soapy stuff is a disappointment.

Are any of the LUSH deep treatments SLS-free? I picked up some of the Marilyn kind and it makes my hair really soft and happy but sends my scalp into fits. I have all these sores on my head now. :-( It's a bummer because I really liked it otherwise. I don't see why they add sulfates to absolutely everything.

I usually like jasmine (I love the Godiva shampoo) but I hated the smell of the fluff ease. I took it back to the store unused because it nauseated me so much. I don't mind the henna smell too much, so I don't know what bothered me to the point of headaches.
Too bad. I really wanted to try it :(

None of the Lush deep treatments seem to be SLS-free. They rely on them too much I think, which is a pity for the overall concept of the company is great.

I had a similar reaction to that years ago and to the one it replaced. It may be the flax. It can be a sensitizer for some people. I have used other conditioners by them in the past with sulphates and did not react to them.

Yeah that is so weird, I see no reason for them to add sulfates to deep treatments as well.
Haha :p funny that no one seems to know how to spell the hua woah one. I have no idea either.

I'm fairly certain it's the SLS, as this is generally how my scalp reacts to it. I just thought "Maybe just this once it will be ok. There can't be that much in there, right?" Guess not.

I think Lush adds SLS to their deep treatments because of all the oils and things in the treatment that would not just rinse out on its own. Most people probably still don't think that a deep oil treatment will make their hair better, and won't understand the concept of slathering it on and then washing it out. With SLS it just rinses out just like a conditioner would.
I am hoping to try this treatment soon. Even though I don't use SLS shampoo, I think an occasional treatment of the fluffease won't be so bad.
Plus, I lurrrve jasmine scents.

I'm reviving a very old thread here.
I'm sitting with this hair mask wrapped in plastic foil and a scarf on my head. Plan on levaing it on all evening.
I applied it on dry hair, didn't use a lot, just 1/8 of the tub I guess.
I love the smell, definately very strong jasmine, to me it smells like typical jasmine tea, very soothing.
I'm curious about the results since I don't have curly or fluffy hair, just hair that likes a good deep treatment!
I will take a Lush bath later and wash it out with Lush shampoo, a nice evening of pampering for me...

I love the smell of it myself, but then, I like the smell of the LUSH hennas too. :)

I liked it- BUT- the chemicals in it bothered my scalp. Also the henna did henna my hair and made it change colour. I stopped using it because of things things and because I had to use an entire pot each time. Very expensive. There are better cheaper more natural hair masks out there.

HIJACK: Hsua Wen-Hua is how it's spelled, I think. I haven't Googled it, I'm just being a smarty-pants :p
I haven't used the Jasmine & Henna Fluff-Ease treatment but in pre-LHC days did used to like the Hs.W-H which seemed quite nourishing (and I liked its bay smell as well).
Sorry, I otherwise have nothing of use to add END HIJACK

I want to try the Hsu-stuff as well!
My hair loves the Jasmin mask more than any oil I have ever used, it is so soft and full and my halo of baby hairs on top of my head is gone!

I have finally got hold of some of this - I've been lusting after it for ages, but was unable to justify the price tag until I had some birthday money to spend.
To make it last, I've just been using it on my ends once a week in between monthly henna applications. I comb it in, leave it overnight, and wash my hair as usual the following morning.
I think the smell is delicious, especially alongside my other jasmine lush stuff. I'm a bit of an addict. The conditioning effect is similar to when I've just hennaed my hair properly, which is just what I was after, and split ends are much less visible.

Hi Elysianne, glad to hear you're enjoying it!
I also just got my hands on it for the first time this week. I usually prefer to make my own treatments, but the jasmine smell was too divine for me to resist. I'm not sure I got the same benefits I do from henna applications, but my hair was noticeably softer. Crazily soft, in fact! And it certainly eliminated my wee frizzies.
The smell has been with me all week too, so for that alone, I love it. What other Lush stuff do you have that smells this good? I need to get stocking up on everything jasminey they have!
I'm also quite surprised at how little of it I needed to coat all of my hair. I reckon I'll probably get 5 or 6 applications out of the tub, which makes it seem like better value for money than I expected.

I use the Godiva shampoo bar - which is lovely jasmine and cocoa butter - for my regular washes, and I am addicted to the Lust solid perfume, which is shameless strong jasmine and ylang ylang. I even keep a bit in a silver poison ring for constant top-ups ;)
I had read some reviews that state that they had to use a whole tub for their hair, but it's so liquid, I reckon even if I did whole head applications I'd be able to get a good few uses out of it!
