I bought these in a two pack at Wal-Mart and wanted to give you a review. They are by Vidal Sassoon. No Name on them that I remember (sorry already threw packaging away) They hold really well for my thick heavy hair... they get my "Heavy Hair Holding Award" :) Inexpensive! Great for a quick updo.

If it will hold THIS (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=3746&pictureid=51598) it deserves an award.

Oooooooooooooo I have seen these and just figured they were like all the others that won't hold my hair! I will pick some up now! :cheese:

I tried out one of those, and my hair went "HAHAHA :rollin:" and fell out. *sigh* Story of my hair accessory life pre-LHC.

I'm glad that they work for you, but they didn't work for me. :(
If I remember right I couldn't get them to hold my hair and the anchor (the hair close to my head.)
But I didn't experiment that much with them, so that could make a difference.

girloctopus & forgetmenotak sorry they didn't work for you :(

I've had good luck with them. I've used them in buns and twist and even do a ponytail that I flip up and then insert the clip... looks cute, kinda like a waterfall. I'm excited to find something I can actually use :D

I thought for sure they would hold most hair, but I keep forgetting we have some amazing hair here that is much thicker and longer than mine :p

Well hopefully someone else will find them useful.

I have a couple of these I purchased before and couldn't get them to work for me. Seeing your hair styled up with one of them holding it all I may have to try them again and see if I can get them to work for me too.

Glad they work for you - they pulled my hair something horrible and I ended up chucking mine.

This thread is very old, but I'll give it a try:) The pic up top doesn't work any more, anybody has an idea which accessory was discussed here?
