Hi^^ this is my first post:cheese:
2 day ago i used Heenara hair oil(by Hesh) on my scalp and hair and i washed after 2 hours,i used a mix of shikakai+aritha+amla and maka,but it didn't wash anything :rant:so i had to wash with SLS shampoo :lipssealed: .
How do you wash your hair with shikakai&co after oiling?

I soak a couple teaspoons of the herb mix in boiling water and allow it to cool to lukewarm then pour over my head and down the length and wrap it in a plastic trash bag for about 20 minutes. For me, the herbs have to soak for a little while to remove the oil. Also, your hair will not feel squeaky clean, it may still feel oily but rinse throughly and let it dry. You may be amazed at the difference, my thin fine hair is full, bouncy, and very shiny. Good luck and let me know if you need any clarification. Sounds like you are on the right path. How much oil did you use? I use a couple tablespoons for my mid-back length hair. More and it is hard to wash out!
