Today, just out of the shower. I'm having trouble believing that that hair belongs to me! I lost about three inches of length when I let it be curly, though.

December 08. Sorry about the moving hair, I was just turning my head to see why the self-timer on my camera wasn't working, when it did. :)

What do you think you did to cause it to curl? I'd love to make mine spiral a bit more instead of just wave.

Had you used a moiserising conditioner? mine goes curlier when I do this, but not to the extent you have got, those curls are so pretty

Personally, I think a little loss of length is worth some curl! Yours are very pretty.

Umm as to what caused it to be curly instead of straight...my hair's always had a rebellious little wave in it...it made growing out bangs an absolute nightmare. :D So what I did to keep it relatively straight was after I washed it I'd comb it out, put mousse in it, and braid it really tightly to keep it fairly straight, then the next day it was usually straightish but frizzy. I knew it could be curly but I liked it better straight. I hadn't left it curly in months and it grew a LOT, so the other day when I got out of the shower I combed it out, put a little gel in it and scrunched a bit, and just let it be, and since it's longer I really like it! The scrunching helped the curls be more defined, I think.

Only bad thing is, now it'll take longer to get to waist!

Those are amazing curls!! Even though they were a bit manipulated, you might actually be a 3a. :crush:
