My hair is close to shoulder length, but I don't know how exactly to call my hair, either straight or wavy or curly. The front parts/bangs/layers seem to get mostly straight, with little waves, while the hairs that sit on my shoulders seem wavy/puffy most of the times, and really thick. Are they supposed to get straight when they will be longer than shoulder length? Or are they gonna look wavy all the time?
This is weird because I look distinctively different from most wavy or curly haired people, as the hair from my front falls pretty straight on my face, and I don't get waves in those areas. What do you guys think?

Here are some pics of me:

My hair is straighter in the front, and when it's as short as yours it barely waves at all there. You may get more waves as you gain more length. Welcome to LHC!

Take a look at this website. To classify your hair you can look and compare the pics to your hair and read the text part, too.

A back of head shot would have been helpful. Often, hair varies in wave from front to back. So it is difficult to help type you. But, from what I see, you are a definite wavy. :) Probably a 2a/2b?

I am not good at hair typing, but very nice color and good shine!

Sometimes parts may seem a different type due to distribution of natural oils.
