What is the average amount of inches for waistlength hair? Anybody know? I'm just curious.:confused:

This is an interesting question. I'm about average height for an American female (5'5" or 65in, 143cm(?) I'm not too sure of my conversions)) and for me waist will be about 34in (it's been a while since I measured).

I'm interested in seeing what other people respond with.

^^^Haha! I was about to post that one. It's a great thread with lots of responses.

I have no idea what's average, since it depends on your height and body shape, and those factors vary widely from person to person (as you can see in the thread Amara posted).

I'm only 5'1" and very high-waisted, so waist length is only 25" on me. :o I am just past hip now at 32", which is about waist length for many people.

Well i just posted in the other length topic *Thanx Amara!!*

I am 5'8 and my sister did a rough measurement *with a ruler* last week to figure out how many inches long my hair is. She said 26 and that i have 1 more inch to go for waistlength. I will be purchasing a proper tape measurer tomorrow...lol!!!

I am 5 foot 7" and waist is 30" on me! 2" to go!!

I think it varies immensely based on height, proportions, etc. I'm a bit over average height for women in many western countries (average is 5'3.4", I'm 5'5.5") and fairly evenly-proportioned, and on me waist is at 29". I'd hazard a guess that the average is probably somewhere around there. Now I kind of want to start a poll and graph it to see what the average is. I'm not a geek, honest!

Waist is 29" or 30" on me - I am also 5'5".
