I guess that's where I am now. Tailbone - reached. Classic length - I wish I had it already!!! I didn't trim for a long time and I hope I won't have to. My ends are shabbier in real life than on pictures...

Ha HA.....I love that *facepalm*. I can at least tell where your hips are from the pic....so you can kinda tell where waist would be. Lovely hair!

Thanks for all the sweet comments. I missed having the clean blunt ends so much I had my husband give me a trim today. He was a little trepidatious but he did an amazing job. I think I am an inch or so away from classic now but I feel better about how it looks.

Welcome to you too, tinker bug. I feel I'm stalling too at the moment - must be the winter and all. I should take a length pic soon though, just to check.

Oh and Spidermom - your hair looks absolutely perfect after this last trim. Kudos to those of you - Spidermom, Surprisingwoman, Amara - who were brave enough a trim lately.
I keep wondering whether my hair needs one too, or whether I should just keep on growing. :hmm:

Kittensoupnrice? Well, it's a play on words, similar to Chicken soup and rice, which is a dish that uses rice instead of noodles in the chicken soup. :)
Also, one of the more memorable books from my childhood was "Chicken Soup with Rice" (http://www.amazon.com/Chicken-Soup-Rice-Book-Months/dp/006443253X), so I think I also picked the name a bit in homage for that book, too.

Thank you Isa-Belle. I keep trimming it, so I've been between hip and this length for 2 years now. I'm hoping now that I've cut off all the hair that had pre-LHC mistreatment, it will stay in good condition long enough to grow to classic. I can't tolerate it when the ends get all splitty and start grabbing onto each other like Velcro. Oh well, I do love this length, so if I can't get decent ends down to classic length, it won't be the end of the world.

I think the light in my flat has been so poor with the winter that my hair hasn't looked at its best in the mirror lately, hence the dissatisfaction :rolleyes: I'm hoping to wait for another month/6 weeks before evening out the ends.

I guess I'm back in this boat. I grew my hair down to fingertip or mid-thigh length and cut it back to hips last summer.

Now I have very thick, full ends and am (probably) growing back to classic. Should be there by the end of the year. :) Hair is now at TB.

Totally. I haven't measured recently, but I have a hunch that mine is a *visual* stall. I have trimmed, but I also have gained length - it just doesn't look like it. My hair is 1b/1c ish and curls/waves with a little provocation - which the outward curve of my butt gives plenty of to the ends (awkward sentence! LOL) so the ends flip out and I have no visually noticeable length gain. Once I get past the top half of my butt I suppose things will change. Then I'll be at classic before I realize it!

I've felt like I was in a stall because the growth had slowed a lot, but in the last three weeks I've had a spurt and gone from 35.5 to 36.5 with a dozen or so racer hairs at 37". I don't how long it'll keep up, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

The longest part of my hair reached classic about two weeks ago, but last week, I finally got the courage to trim my hair using Feye's method. I don't mind a bit of fairytailing but my hair was not growing equally fast all over and I already had split ends when I first joined this forum (but I kept them rather invisible with braids, updos and jojoba oil). I noticed I didn't feel comfortable leaving my hair down anymore. I was afraid to become one of those "examples why very long, straight hair doesn't look good". So I guess it was time. I cut off about 5 cm to get a slight U shape and I like how it looks and how much thinker my ends are now (just I miss the feeling of the hair brushing my bum in the shower :oops:) and I'm so glad I finally found the courage! I just hope it won't be all split and uneven again when I reach classic now.
The same day I cut it, I wore down for the first time in a year or so, and someone commented "Your hair is so long, this must be the longest it has ever been." :laugh: What it is with some short-hair people they don't seem to notice the length when you wear it in a braid or ponytail?

Me too! Me too! I'm pretty much tailbone at 36.5" and would need to grow to 42" for classic. I hadn't planned to grow so long but the longer it gets the more I don't want to cut it. I tend to grow fairly regularly, .5" per month, and don't trim often so I could potentially be close to classic in a year.

Tailbone has definitely been more to deal with than waist, my hair seems to get caught on anything & everything if it's down. I mostly wear it up so I tend to not notice my growth till it's gained a substantial few inches.

I'm looking forward to getting longer with all of you. :)

Yeah, as my hair has gotten so it's in between elbow and wrist length, unless my arms are straight it gets in whatever my hands are doing. :p

Woohoo 5 months! You'll be there this summer!! How cool. I wonder, too, if I'll go farther. I really would like my henna gone, I don't think I want to just wait it out. But I thought I'd stay at hip or tailbone and trim the henna out as it got longer, but now I'm growing to classic and still staying "but I want the henna gone" hahah. Who knows!

I think it may be time for a measure. I'm curious what classic will be on me and I think knowing how many inches I need to get there will be helpful.

I ordered some catnip for rinses and some Nightblooming Triple Moon Anointing oil and I can't wait to try it out. I also started taking a multivitamin for hair growth, so I'll see if that helps speed up the growth process.

The weird thing is, for two years, I did not cut nor hardly comb or brush and it grew long very quickly and is very healthy. I have no idea how that happened. Now that I'm making a conscious effort to take care of it, it seems to have slowed. Maybe I'm just more aware of the length now.

Hey, same here! My ends have this silly flip that makes them look up to 10 cm (4") shorter sometimes. The usual bunning during the day only emphasizes this. This is why I was so happy with my last pics because they were freshly washed (hadn't been in a bun yet) and not misbehaving as much ;)

It would indeed! Have a tiny trim that you won't notice maybe, just a few times this year? That way you'll be solidly past classic by the end of the year but also have ends you like better?

I'm not really sure, but since I joined and first started measuring, I've gained 2.5 inches. I joined on New Year's Day 2010.

I was originally going for tailbone, too, but I liked it a lot and thought a bit longer might be great. I may decide the same thing once I get to classic, there are a lot of things about this length (between tailbone and classic) that I like right now, and only a few that I don't.

That makes me think of a fun question: what do you like about where you are now, and what don't you like? And what might change when you get to classic?

I like
~the length of my braids. They really look long!
~feeling my hair on my lower back
~being able to do pretty much any updo that requires long length
~my ends seems to get less damaged these days when my hair is down or in braids, because it's past the length of many damaging things like purse straps.

I don't like:
~my hair has started to get close enough to "hand" length that when it's down, it can get in the way when I'm doing stuff - bending over to pick things up and things like that.
~My hair is long enough now that it touches questionable things sometimes (this is related to the first "don't like") and I like my hair to stay clean. :D

When I get to classic:
~I'm anticipating I'll like how my braids look even more...
~might start getting more damaged as the ends reach classic - come into contact with a new set of dangers
~... and questionable things

I like
~the way my double braids come together with my length
~being able to make big buns (if I can get the hang of it!)
~the versatility... I can do almost anything I want with it. Even if I don't change it up that much, I have the option of doing so if I wish.

I don't like:
~snagging on bracelets, zippers, or on my pants when I am pulling them down
~sometimes the weight of it when I am feeling warm can be too much, although bunning will solve that if need be
~ mysterious tangles that form viciously within a few minutes... but since I am usually braided this isn't too often

Funny, I get the worst tangles *from* braiding. The little hairs that escape near my nape and tangle, the longer hairs that work their way out over the course of the day...

Do you rebraid often to keep braid escapees at bay?

It's so disappointing! When my hair was around APL, I thought I'd be able to manage my hair by braiding, but no - the hairs that escape snarl up with each other, also the nape turns into one big matt unless I do a braid that comes from higher up so that it's more in free fall at the nape. Anyway, braiding hasn't turned out to be the solution I thought it would be.

I think I made it! This morning I realized that when I'm standing as straight as I can, my longest strands are at classic! I hope to cajole DH into taking a picture or two this weekend. :)

I rarely get any tangles from my nape while braided... but when it does, it's usually from friction with a wooly sweater at my neck, or from rolling around on my pillow while sleeping.

Anyway, when I lean over to pick something up, my hair curls up on the floor. I'm excited :)

Amara - Nope. Well, kind of. When I braid from wet, I can keep the braids for a whole day, even the day after if I keep them up in a braided bun (I do this so they can dry without making my back wet) or they end up not getting too worn. When I braid from dry I do rebraid at least once because they are more out of control. I apply some of my conditioner, just a tiny bit, to the length when I braid to give it some more slip and shine. It seems to help hold the braid together and make it softer.

Thank you thank you for this thread! I've been stalled at tailbone for about 2 years now, around 37" - it starts to creep further, then I impulsively trim off about 3-4" in order to get a nice blunt hemline, and it's back to tailbone with me. I trimmed about 3" a few weeks ago, just before joining LHC, and told myself it's the last time I'll do that! Only dustings from now on. For me, classic is around 42-43", so I keep getting halfway there and then bye bye growth.

So now, I have two goals:
* No more impulsive trimming! Let the ends fairy tale, and get some length growing again. Onwards and downwards to classic!
* Protect what I have. I have extremely fine hair and have a habit of treating my hair not as gently as I should, leading to breakage.


I'm 29 and I'm starting to get comments from my friends and family about how I'm reaching a "certain" age where I should cut off my hair. Does anyone else hear comments like these? Maybe I'm just contrary and ornery, but it actually makes me want to keep my hair long, even when I sit on it and it irks me!
I have not yet had that directed at me, but my grandmother has very particular ideas about hair, including how older women should not have long hair. I have to wear my hair completely tied up whenever I visit her, and I expect that when I hit 30 she'll start telling me to cut it. All of the women in her retirement community have short hair, which is such a pity because long grey/silver hair is just so elegant.

So, now that I'm at the "can I call this classic?" stage... more and more I've been thinking about cutting. =< It just seems to get in the way 90% of the time, and that I'm fighting with it more than I'm enjoying it. I work in a really fast paced retail environment, where I'm constantly bending over, sitting, standing, and running around like crazy, so having my hair down at all at this length is just... well, stupid. lol. It gets in the way sooo much. And I want to be able to wear it down on occasion!

I thought maybe making a pros and cons list would help me make a decision in the next few days. Sooo, here goes! Feel free to pipe up and offer opinions =)

Pros of cutting back to waist:

- I really miss being able to wear a ponytail (and a couple other styles). Now my ponytails are just so weighted down that I get bad headaches... and my hair is still at tailbone while up and still in the way.

- I'll be cutting off the probably very damaged ends... I've stopped using chemical dye a few months ago, but it's going to take quite awhile to grow out the damage. Perhaps I'll have less tangles and frizzies down my length if I chop some of that damage off.

- I can come up with a better sleep style. I'm such a restless sleeper, that a single long braid always ends up getting stuck under me and pulled as I toss and turn.. and I'm at the point where I have to triple wrap the braid up to keep that from happening. Which results in braid waves -every day- which turn into braid frizz-waves. lol

Cons of cutting:

- I'm afraid of losing any more "girth" to my updos. Since August I've gone through a ginormous shed, losing a good chunk of my ponytail circumference. I've started taking biotin and have noticed tons of little sprouts on my crown, but it'll take awhile for that to catch up.

- ... I can't really think of any other cons. Except maybe that I might regret it. Hrm.

Well, my hair is officially 1 metre long and the longest strands are at classic when stretched out. It doesn't feel like classic yet, though, as my hair is pretty bouncy, and the mass of it still sits around tailbone.

I guess it depends on your growth rate, trimming and how far it is for you between tailbone and classic. My tailbone is 38'', and classic is 44''. My growth rate is 0.5'' a month, and I'm trying really hard not to trim!

So it'll take me a year to get from tailbone to classic. By the end of this month I expect to be at 40''.

I've been at tailbone for 8 months now because of a lot of trimming of grabby Velcro ends, but they're in good shape now, so if I take extra-special-good care of my ends, I think I will be at classic length in another 4-6 months. Exciting!

A single braid will now wrap all the way around my head so that I can pin the ends under the starting loop. Whoopee! Braids with ends brought up and pinned under in various ways will be my very protective summer style. Check out my photo album; it's a good-looking style.

I'm between hip and tailbone (it's past my belt, but still needs an inch or two before it reaches mid-butt). I think I'll just let it grow until it either gets entirely too unmanageable, or it reaches terminal. Right now, my goal is to thicken my ends some, and make the hemline more even. I haven't measured recently, but I think I'll do it soon, so I can see how far I've come!

It's funny, it doesn't feel like I have long hair most of the time. It still feels kind of short. Only now and again will I catch my reflection and actually think that I have long hair. I wonder if it will always be this way?

I like to wear a different style everyday, but I've been going to the lazy wrap bun (1 hairstick) and the nautilus bun (Ficcare) as my standbys.

Hello! I think I qualify hair-wise for this thread. I guess I'm halfway between tailbone and classic. I have a random question though, what is the reasoning behind measuring hair from the hairline in the front to the back and end of the hair? I just never thought of measuring it that way I suppose. If I did I guess I might gain some inches though.

I know I would find it impossible to find a spot on the back of my head to measure from, and now my arms arent really long enough to draw a piece of hair and the tape out together behind me! I'm actually probably a questionable tailbone at the moment, since I just trimmed an inch and a half off a few weeks ago; I'm considering cutting a little more, since my ends are still pretty dry. I believe I'm currently around the 35" mark; I'm a shortie too, at 5'3". Maybe this thread'll help me keep up with measuring! I'll definitely be checking in now I know where you are.
Am considering the Nightshade approach, and trimming half my growth, maybe an inch every couple of months. I'm happy to stay around tailbone for a bit, but classic would be very very nice...

I use cheap conditioners for deep conditioning, like V05. It's thinner, but so much cheaper that I can use more than usual.
I usually just smoosh it in with maybe some finger combing.

hmmm i dont deep condition as such.. i do leave my regular conditioner on for a while (like long enough to shave my legs and armpits).. i dont wash my hair every day (and i dont wet the length every time,, sometimes its just a scalp wash and i dont use condish for that) so it works out to be the same conditioner that a normal wash every day person with shoulder length hair would use..

I dilute mine 50/50 with water in a squirt bottle, apply to the length of my locs and put it up in a bun. I deep condition overnight and wash in the morning. It ends up being relatively cheap since I use Organic Root Stimulator deep conditioning pack and it costs less than $2.00. A pack lasts me about 4 treatments.

I don't think your'e overdoing it, I used similar ammounts of conditioner too, and then switched to an organic mask instead of conditioner - I really like what it does to my hair :)
After I shampoo the scalp, I put plenty of the stuff on the ends (below waist length), and a little less on the length between ears and waist, then bun it while I shower (~5 minutes) then wash it off. It still mounts to a lot though, more than a handfull each wash...

thank you :) and it depends. I can use less conditioner and brush it immediately after washing it - without squeezing any water out - if I intend to braid it and not take it out for a day. But if I want to leave it and brush it later - which is what I try to do most of the time - I need that much conditioner or my brush gets literally stuck in the snarls. think round brush accidents... except mines not a round brush. I believe my mom calls it spiderweb hair... as in the brush is the bug. I don't find her funny in the slightest. If I break another one in half I'll take a picture. I'm sure it'll amuse people, just not me.

although I did manage to calm down enough earlier today to use the end tooth of a comb to pull a small snarl out. I'm not sure I could keep calm enough to do it to all of them, especially the ones behind my head. I have a split second temper when it comes to my hair, and sometimes it shows. :(

ETA: oh... I should add... I kind of don't use capitals when I type... sometimes I remember, but most of the time I don't. is this going to be an issue that I need to correct?

I condition from the ears-down only, on days that I wash the entire length (I alternate scalp wash with full-length washes). Before a full-length wash I deep-oil with coconut oil, and I apply my conditioner (LUSH Jungle) to my "dry", oiled hair in the morning, about 1/2 hour before I get in the shower. I also thoroughly detangle before I get in the shower. No problems with over-oily scalp that way ;) and my hair detangles beautifully after my shower (I use a wide-toothed comb).

I dunno. most of the braid pics on here put me to shame, lol, although everyone I know constantly goes on and on about how thick it is. I think they'd have a stroke if they saw some of the pictures on here.

all of my breakage seems to be the very top layer of hair, and mostly at the top of my head. they seem to all end right about chin and shoulder lengths, and I can tell the difference between the frizz and the breakage so... it bites.

I did read last night though a thread on how one of the other girls here was killing her waves and causing frizz with her brushes, so maybe that's part of my problem... but I've never been able to use combs, no matter how wide toothed. the teeth always break off. (then again I've only ever used plastic ones, so maybe one of these wood or bohn ones would be better...)

I dunno. I'll hafta check into it. I'm supposed to be going out looking for those beak clips later, cuz we didn't go out yesterday to find any... I will be spending lots of time in hair places :) - more than usual. he'd better prepare himself, lol.

RachelRain, if you brush so your brushes break off, and you comb so your combs break off - you&#180;re doing something wrong! :scared: Don&#180;t yank at your hair. Be gentle. Start by detangling with your fingers, then move on to a wide-toothed comb, and only use a brush on very well detangled hair. It takes a lot of time and patience, but it is worth it.

I don't yank. generally breakage occurs when my hair is up more than anything else, but i'm sure the brush doesn't help.

combs i dont bother with. I can get them an inch down the hair and then they snap in pieces, so it's never been worth bothering with.

and theres no such thing as of yet as 'well detangled hair' for me, lol... if i so much as roll an eye, i have snarls back in it. it's just super fine and tangly.

I do find those metal pin brushes slide through snarls easier, I just can't find any of them. I'll have to search for one for when my hair's dry.

you know those fist sized snarls that seem to be harboring a squirrel? if you don't, no big deal, lol. but those are the ones that make me mad enough to just start yanking at my hair. since I doubled the amount of conditioner I no longer have snarls that bad, but I still have a lot of them, and I can still occasionally hear my hair snap, but I *think* the only time I really hear it is when I'm pulling out hair ties when I had it in braids and such. (of course, it could just be that that's the only times I've noticed it, as well.)

I only detangle once a week - after washing and air-drying, with my fingers and a wide-toothed comb -, and I only brush right before washing, or if I want to give myself an inbetween treat, but more for meditative reasons than for grooming.

My hair is quite a bit shorter than yours, though.

I'm still working on the hair up part. I've always just left it down and if it gets in the way I'll grab it with a fist, swirl it around once and stick it either under my shirt (if I have a sweater on) or just drop it back behind me.

I did it :) I found a wood comb and at a pet store and snagged it, and I found a nylon mason pearson brush at the mall and snagged that. it's not the metally one I wanted, but this is good too!

no stretching, snapping, breakage, etc, so I think it was the plastic getting caught on my hair that kept doing that?

and I was told today by my mom's hairdresser (not sure how much stock to put in this so I figured I'd post it here) that if comb teeth break off on a plastic one its cuz bubbles got trapped and ruined the integrity? I kinda raised an eyebrow, cuz my mom was the one who brought it up to her, but I didn't say anything except 'that's nice' in case she was right. (either way, I'm not buying more plastic ones, they bite.)

I'll be trimming when my hair gets about classic length on me which should be close enough to my goal of no trims till January 02, 2011. I'm short waisted ( :mad: ) so that's about 41+/- inches for me. I will have some layers I have cleaned/freshened up and figure out what to do with the fringe I currently have.

Depending on how much length I have taken off and how the ends of my hair look will determine if I maintain at classic for a while and thicken up my hemline or let it keep growing. Right now I am thinking less than an inch trim, maybe even less than half inch as my ends aren't bothersome at all.

My last trim (left me at 35 inches) was two inches and was January 02, 2010.

I'm still contemplating classic length but anyway I'm gonna maintain my current length for a while. Next week I have an appointment with a hairdresser (the natural, organic, henna-using kind) to take off the millions of split ends. I've been very lazy about S&D and my parents gave me a gift certificate for that particular hairdresser last Christmas. I'm really looking forward to it. The even have those fancy longhair washing basins.
Since taking a vitamin B complex (3 months now) my hair stopped shedding like crazy almost immediately and I already can see it thickening again. :cheese: My stupid cowlick at the back of my head where the scalp was always visible seems to be less noticable now and my circumference seems to increase slowly. I hope it will get even better from here. Why didn't I notice before how thin my hair had become? :confused:

I think I'm finally there! I'm not sure if I'm liking this length much, but hate to trim it and go back to blunt ends. It is so easy right now to whip my hair up into a bun with only one hairstick. Whenever I trim it, it's hard to secure the ends again. I don't think I've had a trim in over two years.

I went to that hairdresser the other day and she spent 2.5 hours only to remove split ends. Then she took off about 1cm to even up the hem line. I was totally stiff from sitting there, but I really like the salon. All completely natural and no smell of chemicals at all, because they don't use any. I'll definitely go back there sometime.

I don't know which route is the most painless. I wear my hair up virtually all of the time (too warm now to do otherwise!), so the look of the hemline really isn't a problem at this point.

My hair is quite heavily layered on the last 10'' or so, so I sort of have the same problem. I want to get to classic as fast as I can, which means no trimming (and really, I don't need to except for cosmetic reasons). Then once I get to classic, I'll trim, then see how I feel about growing further (I'm thinking fingertip would be interesting).

I wear my hair up ALL the time now as well - and I'm finding a slightly more tapered hemline much easier to work with!

In summary, I think you should grow to your goal, without trimming. It's not that far away :D

I have the opposite problem in that my underlayer grows much quicker than my canopy, resulting in fast fairytaling no matter how often I trim. I've decided to let it all grow to classic, and then maintain there for a while to allow the shorter hair catch up. Like you, I wear my hair up most of the time to go out (and my DH actually likes the fairytale ends better), so I'm trying not to fret about it ;)

My goal (for now) is classic. It was waaaay back when I first joined up here in I think 2004. Now that I'm so close -- 3 inches or a bit less, I'd say, I feel a little lost, almost like that John Mellencamp song, "Paper in Fire":

its actually starting to look long.. oh and i know the top is poofed up more than the ends.. its not that dramatic of a taper its just that the ends are heavily oiled so they are clumped together

28 braids total.. and yes i slept on them.. i just bunned them on top of my head in a big minibraid bee butt scrunchybun.. they would have been all over me otherwise.. it took 2 hours to braid all 28 braids..

It won't be that difficult to get somebody to help you I think. My classmate always asks her sister for doing 40+ mini braids for her. They spend a whole day in front of TV watching movies and talking, and they have a lot of fun:D Break for eating from time to time:D

I've been trying to enhance my natural waviness lately and have been trying plopping. So far the traditional way of plopping works okay for me. It's not great though because while I get enhanced waves/curls, the whole upside down thing does create some weird wonkiness in my length.

I'm trying a different way of plopping which I definitely need more practice with, but seems promising. I read about it at naturallycurly.com in this thread (http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/showthread.php?t=111126).

When I plop overnight I use a buff like piece of cloth and tie it off on top with an elastic. It doesn't slide off during the night and still keeps the hair contained and undisturbed in a scrunched state.

I believe it's just a stall... Do you trim regularly? Maybe your hair needs a trim and then ends won't crumble and it will grow...?

Just popping in to say I am back to mid-bum as I trimmed 10 cm (4") a couple of weeks ago... The hemline was just too uneven for my liking.
My ends are thicker now, so hopefully the growth will be more visible.

Henrietta and krn2891, I never hit stalls when my hair was shorter, but I definitely hit one earlier this year. In my case it was more a case of exhaustion than poor nutrition.

krn2891, I hope that you'll reach 40" sooner than you think. It seems this phase between tailbone and classic takes forever for most of us! I'm glad you're not losing hope too fast - your hair is beautiful.

Just curious... what length is "can I call this classic" exactly? And do you measure classic as "it curls around your bum to hit your thigh line? Or is it "it hangs down so that I can't see my thigh line"?

I think when I got out of the shower this morning, I could just feel the tips of my hair brushing my thigh line, but of course when it dries I lose an inch or two through shrinkage.

You know what's depressing? When I pull half my hair in front of each shoulder, it already touches my thighs. It's just my great big fat butt that has prevented me from reaching classic length in the back.

I'm surprised that my hair is still growing after the stress I've had in the past few months; shedding has been up but I'm still an iii thickness. Phew!

I'm at tailbone, aiming for classic. I've been hanging out here at tailbone for some months, doing little microtrims here and there to get rid of some of the nasty damaged bits (and there are still plenty of them left, believe me!), but I think I'm ready to head south again for a while.

Hoping to at least come close by my birthday in May!

I was stuck at 39 in for so long.... I finally measured yesterday after waiting for months, and it's 43! I thought I was at classic already, but I have one more inch to go. It seems to be growing fast, so I don't think it will take very long.

Even though I've sworn to myself that I won't measure again until January 1st, I still play with my hair in the shower to see if it's gotten longer :lol:

I'm planning on starting a shrink-my-butt program (which means exercise) so maybe that will help make the length seem, well, longer!

Oh, and the other day I was freaking out momentarily when I took my hair out of a three-day bun because I was SHEDDING all over the place. I guess when you have your hair up for three days, the daily shed accumulates and makes you panic. Oops. :p

I haven't measured it, but in the shower it definitely reaches lower into the vertical smile if I let it go there :p Yay! :joy: This would be tailbone on me! I have quite a few inches to classic wet, and not to mention that naturally curly I'm still barely hip length :crazyq: I'm all over the place, but that's curly hair for you, what can I do. :D

I won't be leaving any time soon lol :laugh: I only consider myself fully graduated when my hair will be TBL naturally curly. And it's going to take a while :hatchet: It's like my hair's Mister hyde is already here, while the Dr. Jekyll hair still in the waist to TBL thread :silly:

I'm still in this thread! I've trimmed quite a lot in the last month - about 7 cm - so I'm still a little longer than tailbone.

But my hair had been to 114 cm before the trims (120 is classic on me) and I used to sit on it already :D
Now I am back a little in the process but the ends are better :)

Other than that, there seems to me that I can do all sorts of updo's now, without major problems other than technical ones hehe
Feels like really long hair at this point :D
