What colour is this?

I give up, I have been growing my natiral colour for over three years now. It's long enough that in a bun or a figure eight the coloured part gets tucked under completely, but when someone asks what colour it is I don't know what to say.

Ashy/browny/reddy. have a look and tell me what you think...this is my best pic to date, please ignore the little piece of red tale poking up above the bun as that's part of the coloured half of my hair. If you want to see a few more shots see my album on my profile but this pic is the best so far, Need to get one in natural light.

I agree with the suggestion of walnut brown. That's close to the colour of my hair when I don't have sun highlights. My underlayer is that colour.

It may be a bit hard to say for sure as all our computers or laptops have different contrast and brightness settings that may make me see your hair one color and someone else may see it slightly another. What ever color it is, it looks good. :) I would have to agree with the walnut brown as well.

some of my hair is the same color - ash brown? Light ash? It's hard to know, it's all so subjective. Beautiful silvery color.

Maybe ash brown of a dark blonde. I think the dark blonde hair colour you can buy in stores looks like it's light brown but with a greyish undertone.

id say ash brown too, with slight copper splashes. Im guessing the coppers will be more prominent in summer, its a lovely colour BTW

I like that description! Yes in the sunshine it has a coppery red glow. I never knew lol. I dyed it when I hit fourteen and only stopped three years back, one of the reasons was to get rid of all the red dye lol.

Your roots are my old color and I just called it brunette because it has alot of red tones in the sunshine

id say medium brown with a hint of auburn, your bottom bit is very similar to mine, your hair is too lovely
