my 'late' 2 year growth!

Well a few months late but better late than never!
I started growing my hair after getting an awful cut in December 2005 and here it is in its glory, this is my natural colour

I found this site in August 2007. My hair when I first joined was 18" here is one of my first pictures I put on the site.

I followed all the advice by December of that year I got a lot of growth! my layers were obvious at this stage, I just dusted my length and never touched the layers at all!

By February 2008, I was on a mission to reach APL with waist as my then goal!

With regular oils and no heat my texture, which I always knew was wavy really came through

..........then the quest was on I really wanted to reach BSL ASAP!
by September 2008 i nearly made it

another henna gloss picture but it went too dark but a solid BSL here, now I so want waist!

I then really wanted highlights and figured if I hardly (like twice a year ) used heat and stayed kind to my hair, it would be ok, there are more highlights in the front, but it is growing, this is my latest photo taken a 30 minutes ago

Thank you to everybody for sharing advice and this wonderful journey with me. I now am 28" and I just touch waist when wet, hopefully December will bring me a solid waist!

Its all thanks to you all, for being there during my ups and downs with your advice and encouraging me with all the lovely inspirational photos, years ago Id have cut it all off, so again thank you, hopefully the only downs i will have from now on will be growth ones!

I have always thought I was such a slow grower, which is why I advocate taking photos; a photo never lies! but seriously all you reading this and thinking your hair doesn't grow, take photos every month.

From the bottom of my heart, you have picked me up and given me such good advice. I may not be a super long hair but that doesnt matter, my hair for the first time ever is healthy and thats down to you guys; I just did as I was advised!
