This is my hair after a shampoo, deep condition, then sleeping on it. What do you think? I thought 2c initially, but I really only get spirals in the very front and on humid days. 2b doesn't seem to fit. Am I 2a?

I'd say a 2b... Why do you think it doesn't fit?
Lovely waves :)

Thanks for the compliment. I thought 2b meant smaller waves, like braid-waves. Mine are more random and S-shaped.

2C, I see some wurls and curls there clearly mixed in with the waves :D

I get wurls at the front only too, and I'm similar in that my hair makes loose but very deep "s-waves". I always thought the classifier system worked on how much your hair makes a spiral, rather than than how close together the bumps on the waves are. I have never done an "official" hairtyping photo for myself, so I don't know if I'm way off base or anything on how I've interpreted the hairtyping system. (I self classified my self as a 2b/2c)

Anyway this is my long winded way of saying I think you are too wavy to be a 2a (especially of you are getting a few spirals). :)

I'd say 2c. You're much wavier than I was at that length.

2c, maybe a 2c/3a depending on the day.

2c. I think it will become more noticeable as it gets longer.

Sleeping on it might make your hair look a bit different than it usually would, so for proper typing I'd let my hair airdry whilst standing upright (or sitting down, whatever works best for you) without moving it around too much and then taking a picture.

Having said that, from that picture, and comparing it to my own hair, I'd say you were 2b. My head is full of spirals, front and back, regardless of the weather, but because they're still relatively loose I classify as 2c/3a. Hope this helps :)

I would think you are 2b/2c.. maybe you should set up a poll :)

I'd say 2c as well, especially since it's been slept on.

2c as I would think sleeping on it would even flatten it a bit.

I'd say probably 2c. You have very defined waves (which is just lovely, my waves fall out SO easily).

The LHC has spoken. I'll take majority vote and go with 2C. Thanks for all the inputs.
