View Full Version : 1 1/2 year progress pics

Hello everyone..

It's been a while since I've posted on this board, but I just wanted to share some progress pics. I think I've gotten a lot of great length and retained it over the last 1 1/2 years. I think what has been key to my success is limiting my own usage of heat, lessening my usage of chemicals, and wearing a lot of up/do's. Frequent moisture is also helpful. Below is my progress. I know it's laughable compared to some of you guys with floor length hair but I think I'm on the right track. I just would like to be WL in two years.

Your hair is gorgeous. I don't see any damage from relaxing, and it's so shiny! Really lovely!

You guys are really sweet, and make me feel really good. I see some gorgeous heads of hair on this board, so I appreciate the encouragement!

MBaker, your hair in your siggy is gorgeous, it looks like a conditioner commercial!

little_acorn, I am working sooo hard at hair health. I've come to realize that the health is so much more important than the length. I've had long hair before, but I don't think it's ever been this healthy. I'm always deep conditioning, moisturizing, washing, and then not using heat. I normally air dry and put my hair in a curly braid or a bun or something.
