View Full Version : Wedding hairdo trial run!

So I am doing my own hair for my wedding and did a trial run today to make sure it would work.

It's based off my own curl pattern (with my usual flax gel and plop), and is easy to put in. It's basically two small pinned knots with the front swept back and took all of four bobby pins.

I'll add a comb and a veil. Also, think that my little left-out face-framing tendrils need to be closer to my ears, as these kept fighting with my glasses and generally getting in the way.

I'm so excited! Just had to share.

Your color and curls are lovely too; it's easy to picture a veil on your wedding do. Sounds like it's coming up soon? Best wishes on your special day.

oh so pretty!!

I remember for my wedding, I wanted sort of an up-do with so large barrell culs and then some hair left down and curled. What I actually got was..well.. curly fries on top of my head. :rolleyes:

I would have much preferred what you've done so it looked more natrual.. but stunning at the same time :)

It looks absolutely gorgeous! I like the way that the shorter looks around the glasses, but I understand that they can be a hassle. Congrats! And good luck!

I think the style will look great! I wouldn't move the tendrils at the front, they look good where they are. Congrats on your upcoming nuptials!!!

Thank you so much for your support! I'll probably try it again a time or two and experiment a little with the front. I agree the tendrils look nice, but I'm afraid that won't be the case after they get stuck on my glasses for the 20th time.
