I never hennad I used chemical colour, but they re dyed my hair to brown at the salon. :)

My head feels a thousand times lighter! :) and I kept my ponytail, lol.

I flick it with wax and a flat iron but a blow drier works too and it only takes as long as long hair did to style. :)

I understand how the heavy, long hair could be a burden. Especially at the rate your hair grows. My daughter-in-law has the same issue. Her hair just grows like crazy and it is so thick. She wears it up for awhile but eventually she gets tired of that, cuts it to about chin and grows it all back again.

It gives her a large range of styles to play with over the years too. I think it looks adorable.
