Hello, folks,

I received a coupon code for a free bottle of saw palmetto good with any order from Greenbush Natural Herbs (a.k.a. Frontier Herbs) tonight. (greenbush.net) Saw Palmetto is an herb that has been used effectively to reverse male pattern baldness. A female relative of mine has had good success with it. I am not affiliated, yada yada, but am passing it on for those who are interested. It is an advertised sale, so feel free to use it. They do have other herbs for hair health, as well.

"The coupon code is: freesaw and is good for a 60ml bottle/ 120 doses ($12.95 value) of our alcohol-free, medicinal strength Saw palmetto (http://ss34.on9mail.com/sendlink.asp?HitID=1252868564653&StID=16769&SID=0&NID=474732&EmID=68092650&Link=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5ncmVlbmJ1c2gubmV0LzRvdW5zYXdwY WxleC5odG1s) extract free with any order. "

Well, my computer screen said I was logged in, but WP had logged in on a different window while I was in another room. So when I hit "submit" it showed up as WritingPrincess's thread. I'm sorry for the confusion.

Interesting, though I hope I won't need it. :/

XD; I thought it was a tad odd that she'd be posting about a male pattern baldness supplement she heard of when she was buying something online.

Be careful about saw palmetto, it can be a stomach irritant. Know someone who took it for a few months (not for baldness I admit) and they found it eventually contributed to wearing away their stomach lining despite the fact that they were careful to take it with food.
Mind you, anything that promises thicker hair is VERY tempting...am female and am seriously tempted as I type...Guess it has hormonal effects though and it is a herb that tends to be reccommended for men - mainly for prostrate problems - does anyone know of any female that took it to thicken their hair? If so, what results did they have? By the way, by "results" I don't mean sideburns and a moustache....
Will watch with interest.

This is interesting about the side effects of it. I currently take the nioxin vitamins and they have saw palmetto in them. I'm hoping its not enough to mess with anything. I do know lots of ladies whom have had great results with these but as I said...this is just one of the many ingredients in them. I always take them after eating a full meal too.
