I got bangs!

I totally did not follow the 2 week rule with this one but I like them anyways. I cut them myself, about 2" off, just for a change :) What do you think?

I LOVE her, I have the biggest crush on her! She is actually the reason I cut them lol. I would love to go dark but I think Ill use the 2 week rule for that one hehe. (ps. for those who love Zooey, check out her music, her band is "She & Him" and they are AMAZING!)

aww thanks everyone for the comments! I was really unsure once I cut them but you all have made me feel good about them! It's great that you say they look professinally cut because I have never cut bangs bfore, I seriously just grabbed a chunk of hair and cut right accross hehe.

I've heard it best to hold your sizzors
upward cutting vertically randomly after cutting straight
across making the bangs more wispy.

How did you cut them?

I was trying to cut them like ZooeyDeschenal's so I just looked at a photo fo her for the length, then brushed my hair forward to the thickness I wanted them and cut lol. It looked really too crazy at first, like too straight accross, but I got my mom to kind of fix them by cutting them vertically. The good thing about cutting bangs at least is if you mess up, it grows back super fast!

I saw her with her band during a Rock festival I went to. I had no idea that she had a band, and I was like OMG that is Zooey. I felt so proud of myself for making that call, and they were pretty good.

I just cut bangs on my daughter today and she had a livid fit and cried so many tears. She was not happy but I had to because her hair was in her eyes for school and the teacher has been on her all this week. I told her we'd have to do something to pull them back and she said no, it's her hair.

I ended up bribing her with color after the fact. Can't win'em all but pick your battles wisely. She looks so cute though. :D
