2 year anniversary...lots of pics, of course!

I missed my actual anniversary by a few weeks, but better late than never, right? I haven't made much length progress in the 2+ years I've been on here. I've probably trimmed off 90% of my growth, but I'm definitely a health over length person. I started out with shoulder length, fully highlighed hair in about June of '07. I found LHC in August and my hair has improved immensely since then. I continued to do partial highlights until about a year ago, when I realized that my natural color is really light and I don't need highlights at all. So for the last year I've been waiting impatiently for my virgin hair to get longer and replace the fuzzy, broken, highlighted length.

I started out with ear-length layers, grew them out and trimmed to get a blunt hem in June of this year, then decided that I prefer a little bit of layering, so I got a few cut back in about a month ago. I also finally cut off most of the highlight damage - I'm only left with some on the canopy now. I'm so happy with how it looks now. Like most people have said, I came here for the hair, but stayed for the friends. I haven't been posting much lately, but I love knowing that there are a lot of people here that care :flower:

Its about halfway between BSL and waist now. I'm hoping to be back to waist by Christmas or a little after. I'm still planning on keeping up frequent trims. My final goal is hip, and I think I might be there in another year, with super healthy hair. Hurray!

I might be more of a ii/iii or even the lower end of iii. I haven't measured my circumference since I joined and I know I've had a lot of regrowth since then. My hair is really fine but I've got a ton of it. Time to break out the tape measure again, methinks!
