GIANT Sock Bun

Today the rain came back to my part of Oregon. :happydance: I am not one who fairs well in heat and I love the rain. :hmm: Well, being a mermaid I guess I have an affinity for water in general.

Anywho...

I decided to put my hair up in a sock bun today to protect it from the wind and the rain. I love how it looks but am not always happy with the extra tail I get left behind by it. I didn't want that tail today, so I did what was shown on video: Just roll the suck bun through the hair so there is no tail left! I had no idea how it would turn out, and with more practice I am sure this will look better, but O.M.G.! Look what happened:

I think this type of bun is beautiful !!and your hair looks great in it!
I love the rain too, and we get about NONE here...I miss the regular thunderstorms of Florida...nothing else though:0)heat does not go well with me either..

I don't really like the "regular" sock bun, but I loved the rolled up one. Yours looks great.

If I had put it up when it was damp I might have, but no. It was a little hard to get out and my ends went every-which-way. I braided them for bed and they still felt off. They are sitting in a nice oil treatment right now to help them feel better before I get in the shower for a CWC.

Wow. I can't believe I'm actually seeing someone complain about a huge bun. Lol, that's gotta be a first for me. :p I think it looks great! If you're not happy with it, practice it until you are, but it looks nice to me. :)
