Do you tuck your hair behind your ears?

I tuck when its dry and down. When its wet, its usually up plopping, so no tucking needed. When I wear it down, since I part to one side, the thicker side tends to fall in my face, and can't stand that.

I put I don't, although it has been known to happen. I wear my hear up most of the time, and when I wear it down, I want it to look its best, and tucking makes it look kinda awkward. I sometimes wear deep, side parts, which can make the hair more prone to being in my face. So, I try to twirl my sides along the side hair line and bobby pin them above the ear. That way I get a nice soft twirl when they are out instead of what I consider on myself dorky elephant ear curves that have just been chafed to heck by ear rings. -_-

I USED to wear it parted in the middle and tucked back in the 60's, but my hair had a much heavier texture then.

Those little triangles of hair right in front of my ears (sideburns?) are some of the most frizzy hair I have so I tuck them behind my ears. The canopy is much smoother comparatively so when I put my hair up I always swoop that hair over the top of my ears. I am hopeful that those bits of hair will grow long enough to get control of them by incorporating them into my updos.

I think I posted here at some point in the past yet I dont remember exactly what I said. But im pretty sure it had something to do with NOT tucking it behind my ears. However maybe my answer has changed since then. So, I would have to say that I tuck my hair behind my ears about 20 percent of the time, for some rather impromptu yet valid reasons. 10% of that time its in a ponytail though, so I guess that doesnt count. So I reckon around 70%, it does what it wants. But am I the only one that, for the most part, essentially, for all intents and purposes...only tucks it in private, or in the company of friends? Never in actual public? I bet I'm not. But maybe I am :)

I think for some of us it is just how our faces are shaped. My hairline is pretty high on my ears. I tried to have it untucked a moment ago to see if I could and it basically only covered the tips of my ears and made it look like I was Spock in hiding....

I've never even thought about this before now, but I never do tuck it behind my ear. I have a side part on my right side and my hair on the left is thick enough that it just wouldn't stay put (or maybe I have little ears!) and it wouldn't be comfortable. I used to use a barrette or a headband to keep it off my face, but now I usually bun it or use a claw clip or a slide to hold it back.
