Antibiotics and supplements?

This might be a stupid question, but my google-fu seems to be lacking. I'm taking penicillin after a root canal and I can't tell if I should stop taking supplements as long as I'm on the antibiotics? Everything I read tells me to be careful with the birth control, but nothing about vitamins. I'm taking GNC's Be Whole and Be Beautiful supplements, one of each a day.

I'm no pharmacist, but I've never heard any doctor or pharmacist say that you shouldn't mix vitamins with any kind of antibiotic I've ever taken.

Call your pharmacist and ask them for the best advice. One other thing, you might consider eating some yogurt every day to help keep the antibiotics from wiping out all of the good little buggers too! (o;
