Pantene and I are BFFs right now but I haven't done any kind of deep treatment in a couple of months since using it. I was wondering how to go about it. Do I clarify to de-cone first or do I just put whatever treatment on first and then wash as usual?

You could give a deep treatment a try and see if it benefits you without clarifying. If not, try clarifying first.

I agree, although you might just clarify straight away anyway to get rid of any cone buildup, then do your treatment and go back to your cones at next wash time

I would clarify then do DT,that way you dont have build up.

On me, DT is a waste of time and money if I don't clarify first.

for me, being a big time conehead, i clarify before any deep treatments so my hair can absorb as much moisture as possible.

I clarify before all MT/DT's :)
