I think you're hip length. If you tie a string around you where the top of hip bones (iliac?) are, does the hair brushed or goes over that line? If so, you're hip length. :)

I tried Heidi W's string test, and I'm *just* at hip, so that's what I'll call it. (Although it was frustrating looking for the iliac crest bones because they used to be a lot easier to see...)
And Glenna? Thanks for the compliment :) Guacamole--is that a good treatment for hair? :D I usually try to take it internally.

I will have to remember this trick when I get close to hip length, because unless I have a miracle happen to me that keeps me on a diet and I lose a bunch of weight I am sure not to actually see my hipbones, lol. :D
