I just bought some Aloe Vera gel today. How is this used? Is it used as a styling gel or to lock in moisture someway. I know this sounds like a stupid question but I am willing to try anything that will work on my frizzy dry hair. Thank you for your help.

Oh, and I did try and look it up but I can't seem to find an answer.

Aloe vera is my favorite:)I use it as: hairgel, when my hair feels dry, after shower, every day. Sometimes I blend it with some oil beacuse aloe vera gel make your hair hard and if you blend it with oil it will be soft and not brake.:p

I'm another fan of aloe vera gel. Sometimes I just use a dab to smooth an updo. Sometimes I mix it with a little Monoi oil or coney serum to use as a leave-in on wash day. I love the fact that it's lightweight and has no smell.

I use it on my hair when it's damp and then scrunch it to make it wavy. It helps hold the waves in and fights frizz (though to tell you the truth it doesn't do a great job on my frizz). I also sometimes use it to slick back my hair when I'm putting it up.
